Indie-Dolly Systems Slider Dolly System at NAB2012

Another day, another rock solid slider system at NAB 2012. My previous report detailed the MYT 3 in 1 Slider Dolly System from MYT WORKS of Brooklyn, NY. Like minds on the other side of the country have arrived at a similar design that, thankfully, offers the kind of rigid, professional support that is often missing from other slider options.

This one is the product of INDIE-DOLLY SYSTEMS of Pacoima, California (north of Burbank) at www.indiedolly.com Their SLIDER DOLLY SYSTEM comes with a sturdy high hat that accommodates a 100mm bowl tripod head. The included nine feet of track may be mounted on a tripod (or multiple tripods or light stands) or it may be placed directly on a tabletop or floor and is leveled with built in adjustable supports. It comes in a carrying case for $800.00. It should be available in four to six weeks.

It is well designed and clearly built to handle the weight of a camera and tripod head. I was impressed by the simplicity of both the INDIE-DOLLY and MYT WORKS sliders and I recommend that you consider both for rock-solid camera support.
