We here at Serious Magic are listening, and we have plans in the works to improve the pixel aspect ratio control. I'll elaborate a bit when I have a chance, but right now we're all under the gun with an impending deadline. For More next week, but for now you can rest assured that this is on our radar screen (and has been before anyone outside of our own corridors raised the issue--too many features, too little time...)
