Fascinating, but no, VR's Phantom camera won't one-up RED any more than it has one-upped y'alls Silicon Imaging camera. Vision Research is a company with experience in super-high frame rate imaging, including military applications, that is filling an entirely different product niche and price point than either of you guys.

Just my opinion, but I think it probably serves everyone best if each development team passes out information on its own projects and doesn't toss anything over the fence into the DVi forum of the competition.
