Now that Avid has officially offered trade-up pricing to Xpress Pro owners ($495) and Liquid owners ($1,495) we are getting even more questions asking why folks should upgrade and what makes Medai Composer so great.
There have been significant changes over at Avid this year. A new management team has been put in place to re-vitalize the company and return Avid to the forefront of the video editing and post production market. At NAB2008 the new Avid Media Composer software and hardware was announced. The Videoguys have had the chance to meet with the new management, product, marketing and sales teams.
