Interesting to see the difference in real world situations. Thanks for posting Dominik.

I have been shooting tests in high contrast situations, backlit, direct sun behind the subject, trees, leaves, foliage, reflections on water.

Std 3 auto knee was completely overwhelmed by blown highlights, but the manual knee was very good, providing all the necessary control. Turning on Zebra2 (100%) in conjunction with the histogram and (just looking at the scene in the LCD) was confidence inspiring with the two points plus slope of the manual knee adjustment. Easy to do on a tripod, but would be a real fuss handheld. With Cine1, it would be hassle-free but flatter looking image.

Dogs have issues with Std 4.
