From my experience with the HD1000, wobbles in both the 1080/60i or 720/60p modes seemed far less severe (I've not tried the lower bit rate modes). I'm not sure if that was because of the higher bit rates of the two modes or the higher temporal resolution. Of more serious concern to myself and probably to most users of the HD1000 is the focus hunting issue. I think most of the time the focus breathing in low-light, low contrast scenes or scenes with constant change in motion of the focusing subject(s) almost completely obscured any wobbles there might have been. That's left us with the shaking issue..........oh! boy.
