I'm getting ready (narrowing down) my purchase of a 35mm adapter. Red Rock seems to be in the lead, but I also like the Letus. I'm considering not buying the flip adapter and instead just purchasing a monitor that will attach to the camera (Sony Z7U) and flip the image. I've been told that its hard to focus on the cameras monitor and that an external is best.
My question is which external monitors do you guys use? Is composite enough?

In my experience with the Sony EX1, the 8" screen is way better than the LCD. However, the EX1 does not send the Expanded Focus info to either the composite or the component outputs. Why why why not? So, for judging critical focus, the LCD is better. However, the 8" Sony FX820 works well with Red Rock Micro. If you want component output, check the thread I posted above for the 7" LCD with component->VGA adapter. I passed on that one because powering that monitor was another complication.
