They are looking at the RED from a visual effects perspective and actually reserved one. Some good comments from Jim and Ted about their plans. I actually believe in the camera a little more after reading this.

Actually, one thing that hasn't really been picked up on that much is audio. 24 bit audio at 48khz with the possibility of going even higher sounds very nice indeed!
