Canon XL-H2 finally upon us? A clue!

Ok guys ... let the excitement begin!

I just talked with my audio guy today and he told me that he was in the Time Warner Center here in NYC yesterday and he saw a guy wearing a new black Canon baseball cap that stated in the front in red letters "Canon XL-H2" and in the back in white letters "Innovation and Engineering".

Take this evidence for what it is ... I can't help but feel like this camera is imminently upon us ...

Come on NAB 2008!!!

That does sound exciting Michael. However, our policy is that rumors and speculation absent a bona fide reference must go to AREA 51.

But it will be fun to talk about it here and see what everyone thinks will show up.

I have been waiting months and months for Canon to update the XL H1 so I hope the hat is a sign...The ex1 will be my backup but nothing beats the quality of a Canon in my opinion. Keeping my fingers crossed for NAB next week!
