Help with Adobe premierCS3
I'm very new to this and I have been watching a lot of premier training videos on Lynda.com.
I used canon GL2 to cover an event that took two tapes. After some minor editing on both tapes I saved tape1 as event1 project and tape2 as event2 project. I want to join both tapes. I opened Event1 project and imported event2 project into event1 project. I inserted event2 clips into event1. Now here is my dilemma. After the insertion event2 clips did not show any of the editing I did to it. It plays the original clips. If I opened event2 project by itself it plays the edited version but when I import it into event1 project it plays the unedited version. What am I doing wrong? Please help or tell me a better way to do this. |

You need to nest the timelines. I would create a third project -- call it "event merged" -- and import both of the other projects into it. Then just click on the sequences that appear in your project window.

The cool thing is that any changes you make in the original timelines will be reflected in the merged project.
