Avid Liquid and Edirol r-44

Hello,

I have Avid Liquid Edition 7.2 and am interested in getting the new Edirol 4 track recorder. I just wondered if this program is able to import a 4 tracks from the Edirol?

Thanks

Hmmm, It shouldn't be a problem because each track should be a separate file. Import all 4 files and drag them on the timeline and then link them together.

I guess my only question is what sample rate will Liquid support in relation to the Edirol. Without looking it up, my guess is that the sample rate is compatible (24 bit/ 48k).

As a logical workflow, I would probably never attempt to import directly from the R-44. Seems like a safer workflow to copy the files to a hard drive (where they can be backed up) and then import from an organized Audio folder/partition.
