Capture on Xpress Pro 10.8 & Canon XHA1

I'm having a lot of trouble right now working with my new Canon A1. When i try to capture, i can control the camera setting it as a "generic" device, but when i click to capture, a pop-up comes up saying "video signal is present but not captured" The image is present though in the composer window.

Does anyone know how to set it up from the beginning, i keep trying to back track to find the problem, but no luck so far.

But to be specific with what i captured in the camera itself, i captured everything in 60i. Nothing fancy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
