MC 3.0 Overview

http://www.studiodaily.com/main/video/9557.html

Check it out. Media Composer 3.0 will do TC windows, realtime raster sizing in DVCPPro,HDV,HD, from mixed format timelines. PLus you can insert tracks into the middle of a stack of video tracks and move a group of clips up down and all around like FCP.

Can't wait. Cheers.

While some NLE software vendors continue to ignore complaints from customers, it's really great to see Avid step up to the plate, making Avid more attractive and useful than ever.

We are running MC Adrenaline 2.1.6 and I can foresee paying thousands for this upgrade.
Does anyone know what the upgrade might set me back?

Upgrade paths and prices are listed on avid site. www.avid.com No idea what you're looking at. It was a $495 upgrade from AXP for me... so I'm happy! ;)
