Please post how it works.

Do you plan on running Vista or sticking with XP?

V3 installed, up and running. In fact, it seems smoother and more stable. I had to update my dongle, but, that went smoothly. No problems, yet. I wouldn't touch Vista with a 10 ft pole.

good to hear...did you already have MC or did you upgrade from XPro?

I'm still on Xpro, not sure I want to upgrade just yet...figure I'd wait until any new bugs get worked out of ver 3.0 since it seems like a major update...and I'm in the middle of a few big projects.

I'm thinking I'd stick with XP...because it works. The only advantage I see is Vista would recognize all 4gigs of my ram...but that's probably not worth the headaches and the OS reinstall.

update MC 2.8.3 to v3. I run 3 Gb on RAM and it works just fine. v3 has an updater to allow XP to access 3 Gb.
Installed on both a Dell Laptop and my desktop workstation. Both installs work very well.
