2046 great colors.
I just watched this movie the other night and can't help but mention how great the colors are. I thought the story was a little hoaky but I liked it. Every shot was like a great photography. None of that, " just put the camera here to get their face." Lots of green.
How do you think it was achived, lights, color grading, or a little of both. Looks like mainly lighting to me. |

Hi there,
Basically all films made by Kar-Wai are all pretty amazing in term of photography (and for the rest!). His DP is Christopher Doyle most of the time. "Fallen angel" is a must. Philippe |

for more Christoper Doyle awesomeness check out Last Life in the Universe, and In the Mood for Love. Be patient with both as the payoffs are great. Cheers.
