Sorenson 4.5 crashing
Hi,
Cineform AVI file (720/50p) is crashing Sorenson Squeeze 4.5 (4.5.700.1). Any body else have/had this problem? (PC platform). Many thanks! Johnnie |

I upgraded to version 5 and have no problems with the cineform encoded files.
I know that's no answering your question as you use 4.5 :) |

Yes, 5.0 is the answer. 4.5 was buggy with many AVI files, but it really didn't like CineForm files (their bug not ours.) However 4.5 did support MOV wrapped CineForm files. You can use HDLink to quickly rewrap AVIs to MOVs, then use those in the older Sorenson Squeeze.
