Timecode

HD Link does not retain source HDV timecode.

So now we must edit in native m2t.

Is there any way to still utilize Cineform in attempt to preserve visual fidelity?

FYI We have about 24 hrs of footage from 5 separate cameras @ HDV 24F. Editing in PP CS3.

Timecode

As long as you know the original timecode of a clip, you can always tell Premiere what it is (file/timecode). It's a pain, but it does work.

I don't know about 24f mode, but for regular HDV, if you capture from within Premiere using a Cineform preset and Cineform Capture, the timecode comes over just fine.
