classifieds and attachments - Page 2

Hi, how can I view and post to the classified section? I have been an approved member for over 30 days and have already sent email to webmaster?

I have signed out, cleared cookies, and signed back in and still nothing.

I believe it has to do with number of posts as well.

Speaking of which, this is my one-thousand four-hundredth! Yay me.

The classifieds are designed to be available to the contributing and active members that have invested in DVInfo.net.So start contributing and participating! I don't know the thresh hold (not published as far as a forum search could tell).

and 1400 is .... a lot of posts!

What is the official status on getting access to the classifieds? I have posted a few times in the XL2 forums and would like to browse the equipment for sale here. Especially with the awesome canadian buck these days :)

There seems to be a glitch in the forum software that was supposed to change the user access automatically. I think Chris has been having to go in and change them by hand.

If you have indeed been here for more than 30 days then drop a note to Chris Hurd and ask him to look into it.

Howdy -- I'm not sure it's been answered in this thread - what are the criteria/timelines for the ability to post attachments? I'm finding myself wanting to post screenshots here and there in asking questions, but I'm still not able to attach. I'm jealously seeing other posters with a lesser post count than mine (pretty small, admittedly) able to attach files.

Hi Ian, access to the Classifieds should happen automatically 30 days after your account is validated. I don't know how you managed to break that mechanism, but it's now fixed and you can get into that forum. Attachment permissions are another thing I'm working to sort out, but you should have those too as of now.

Fixed in your case -- you might have to log out and back in again though.
