From Premiere to Encore (on Mac), best quality needed

I am trying to burn a karate demo I filmed, its 50 minutes long, but things seem to be taking way too long. It was shot in 1440x1080, 60i, 1.33 PAR. I exported from Premiere as Animation 720x540 with 1.0 PAR and Bottom Field first field order to get it with the black bars. It looks great...but the file took 6 hours to render and is 68 gigs. I went ahead and put it in Encore and now the transcoding is taking just as long and I keep getting a "Title not set " Error and it won't let me set the title. I am trying to burn a sample DVD anyway.

Question is...is there a better quicker way to do this? Its due by tonight and if something is wrong I can`t afford another 6 hour render time.
