FS-1 Firestore compatible Hard Disks

I thought this could be somehow helpful for those of you who still use FS-1 (or thinking to use it): I just bought two of these from two different places (2nd hand) and used them with the newly arrived Freecom slim 120GB and 160GB firewire hard drives - they worked great! I had some issues (artifacts) with a matrox though... I am posting this here, because I am aware the FS-1 can get a bit 'selective' in regards to the hard disk... By the way, does anyone ever tried to playback .avi movies with FS-1 previously recorded into the hard disk from premiere or other editing tool? If so, which codec did you use?
