Unknown Volume Partition now? Help!!

Ive had this for 3 days NIB and cannot get it to record but a few minutes and when it does record the the record time on the fs4 sputters and jumps then when it stops automaticly is shows a message Unknown Volume Partition now? choices are Yes or Menu..
I am getting very frustated with this thing NIB wont record and wants to partition itself..I did do the update same problem.

I really need help????

Looks like something is wrong with the Hard drive?

Hello Steven,

Your product registration states that you purchased your FS-4 HD from ebay- units purchased from ebay are not covered under warranty. I would suggest contacting the person that sold it to you because the unit was defective out of the box. There is a $245.00 flat repair fee for the FS-4 HD payable by check or by credit card if they will not take the unit back. Let me know how you would like to proceed.
