wheres the button?

Is there an option to output my canvas window to my external monitor via firewire as i do in vegas? I cant seem to find any button or option, surely there is something simple i am missing. Im using 4.6 broadcast demo version. Thank you

Look under SETTINGS/HARDWARE SETTINGS/GENERIC OHCI SETTINGS.
Note that external monitor output only works for the SD mode, not HD.

Thanks Bill, doesnt seem to matter what nle im in your always around to help :) . Ok so basically if im editing my ex1 footage nativley i cannot monitor out via my fire wire monitor setup?

You need the NX or SP hardware to monitor T HD output on external monitor. You could use the usual OHCI route through the camera or deck and then to an external monitor but you will get some lag.

Another way is that if you are using dual computer monitors is to use single display mode and then stretch the player/recorder window as large as you like on the second monitor.
