Better slow motion workflow?
Hi guys,
I am planning to do some slow motion on my short(HV30 24p) this weekend. What would be the best workflow to achieve a very good quality? Do you have a proven workflow solution? A) 24p -> Cineform pulldown -> Twixtor B) 60i -> Cineform pulldown -> Twixtor Thanks, John |

option b. the first option won't be very good because it's shot in 24.
I shoot 60i then bring into Motion and slow to 50% using optical flow. |

I believe in Cineform HDLink, under Preferences, there is a drop down menu under Frame Rate Change (Advanced) where you can slow down 60p to 24p. Just shoot in 60i and it should work, but have not done it myself. I would even resize the video with HDLink to 1280 x 720.

I did shoot in 60i then converted the video using JES Deinterlacer(Mac) to 60p then into a 24p project in AE. Works great!
