Anyone used this tape? What are your experiences?

Sony HDM-63VG High Definition Mini DV/HDV Tape

I used its very similar purple cousin - the HDV digital master tape.
It worked fine, for sure, but with over 110 tapes on the regular Sony Premium DV tapes I honestly can't say that I ever wished I'd forked out the extra cash.

Do you suppose there is actual data/measurement differences on the specs on these tapes?
