[M-15 deck]Transfer hdv to Sd

Sorry if i'm asking here, but as a newbie of this forum i've just noticed that there's a "room" about the decks...
I posted a similar question on the camcorder thread so if necessary please moderators remove it!
Just wanted to know how to downconvert an HDV tape(in the msony hvrm15) in SD tape connected through firewire to a camcorder HD(SOny Z1 or FX1 or fx1000)....
Just wanted to skip this operation through ADobe Premiere or FINAL CUT PRO....
thx and sorry if u get a similar post in another thread!

Access your menu and select iLink down convert - turn on. Select stretch, letterbox, etc.
