Pro35 and Varicam at 60fps

Does anyone have any experience shooting the Varicam with the Pro35 at 60fps? I've seen what P&S has said about adjusting the shutter speed, but I would like to hear if anyone has tried this and what were the results. I'm producing a 30sec spot next week where the DP and Director insist every shot is in 60fps and all of it with shallow dof including 3 rack focus shots. I'm concerned that the target patterns or artifacts will be hard to avoid and taking P&S consideration by turning off the shutter that you will need a lot of light for what is already a slow Zoom lens on it. I look forward to any suggestions.

The bad places are against a solid color background. Like a white cyc, or a deep blue sky. My best suggestion would be to have a Frame Rate Converter in line with your monitors. One being you get to see your slomo instantly, but even better to judge how the ground glass is working. It's not something that is apparent if you cant see the slomo effect right away.

On the other 99% of the time, the GG is a good thing.

Thanks for your suggestion Robert. We are going to go with the Super Speed Zeiss Primes and be mostly open all the way just to be safe. I will ask the DP about the Frame Rate Convertor. Do you have any links to any of these convertors and who makes them?
