DVX100AE (PAL) 1/25 in 50i mode?

This DVX can do 1/25 shutter speed in 25P mode but not in 50i as far as I can see. Am I missing something or is 1/50 in 50i it's limit????

That's the limit... unless you turn on the slow shutter function through the custom button set up

I don't know why you'd want 1/25 in interlaced mode considering the slow shutter doesn't work with gain or any automatic function (not that many use auto modes anyway).

If you're trying to increase luminance, the DVX can handle gain increase of up 9+ and keep it virtually noiseless.
