Red and Avid DS?
Is there any word on how Avid's DS system is handling Red footage? Thanks much.

Peter,
I imagine the best workflow would be to convert the r3d files to DPX or DNXHD using Redcine. I wouldn't be surprised if a future version of DS works with r3d natively. Cheers. |

http://www.kappastudios.com/?p=81 You basically use DPX files like you would with any other DI tool. DS treats the material like any other film project except there is no keykode, just timecode. |
