RED One Interchagable lens?

Hey DVi readers,

This is the first post I've made so pardon my lack of knowledge. AS it relates to the discussion of adaptibility of lenses on the RED ONE, I've been asked by the Director of a small film company, who is about to invest in a RED camera, if the lens on my old Hitachi Beta Cam can be adapted to the RED. The lens I have is a Fujinon Aspheric 9-144mm 16x TV Zoom. Are we wasting our time considering this or is there an adaptor that will work for this set up?

Sorry Michael, your Fuji lens is most likely standard definition, and RED One needs high definition glass.

It also won't cover the full 4K frame, maybe just about covering 2k. RED does do a B4 converter I believe though. Check out www.reduser.net for more info than you possibly read in 10 lifetimes!!!
Also bear in mind that an order placed for a RED now will likely not ship until 2009!
