Nice renders, Jim.

Also nice to see them first here on this site. I love Reduser, but this is for me still the place where it all began.

Great! Where can I get in line?
Are those minijacks on the front? Hopefully you have some sort of arrangement for balanced inputs with TRS minijacks.

Very cool- I'm dying to see one with the LCD monitor opened. I can imagine where it is but it would be great to see. :)

We will not post the actual Scarlet inputs and outputs for competitive reasons, but I assure you that everything you want/need will be there in the release Scarlet.

Sweet!
I'm all over this thing when it's released, like everyone else that can scrape together $3000 by new year ;)

And to think, the images in the renders look small, compared to the actual size (as shown at NAB.)

When filmed with Scarlet, rather than saying, "why are you using a little consumer camera?", actors will simply say, "bitchen camera!"

I get giddy when I see the new Scarlet stuff; feels like the night before christmas when I was 7. I can't remember being so goofy over a product like this for a good 25 years.

I guess it's safe to say I drank the flavor-aid...

Would it be possible to get a rough weight estimate or is that proprietary info?

To quote John Lennon "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"

I don't know the weight, but from the size I saw at NAB, and the fact that the body is aluminum, rather than plastic, and with all that glass, Scarlet will be no featherweight.

I'll go out on a limb and guess "just under 10 lbs. naked", but don't take my word for it. We'll see what RED says when they're ready.

Probably won't fit in most pockets either- but that's ok with me.
