Libec PH9 Zoom Pan handle

I have the JVC101e, is the above handle any good/smooth zoom etc for this cam, my tripod is the manfrotto 501/525, or is there a better one

It's a good lower priced zoom controller. It does what it should do. Nothing more nothing less.

lens

The 501 head is fine, i was wondering if the libec will fit on the manfrotto i have,
and if the controller will work or should i wait and get a better one

There are several adaptor for mounting The PH-9 on other heads then the Libec's. My tripod is a Cartoni Gamma.

It has an 8-pin lens connector, and there is a switch on the controller so that you can choose between a Canon or Fujinon lens.

Have you tried the varizoom Pro-F? It looks really nice, I'm ordering one next month but never tried it. I like it's pro look.
