This is exactly the problem, John. The light which hits the actress is green, not white or nearly white. Problem is you can't escape it like moving a subject away from a colored wall.

Thanks, Bill. Reflections wasn't actually the right word, it's the green-ish hue (which we usually blast away with lights).

Playing around with the make-up is a good idea, thanks.

Use a small HD monitor instead - my advice. Less costly, too.

The TV movie (and the whole miniseries) with Alec Guinness as Smiley is vastly superior (in my memory... I have not seen it since it aired... makes me sound really old age ;)

Whenever you can, record to a back-up tape.
I've had camera assistants who forget to turn on the hard drive...
They've not lasted in their position, but the damage was lessened because of tape...

Gavin: first still, indoors @ 5.6, is without ND but still vignettes. We went through the ND levels and saw no real change. Only change was with aperture.
