Black Magic Cinema 4K
Has their been any discussion on how good this camera is in low light? I know that the original wasn't terrible, but I was hoping this one would be better. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Manfrotto 501/503 replacement.
The left side adjusts the tension and the right side locks it down. It is much better balanced than some of the others. We will probably just end up dealing with it since there are no other options...

Manfrotto 501/503 replacement.
We have been using the Manfrotto 501/503's for a few years now and some of them need replacing. I ordered one of the new 502HD's and it seems with the new models, they have switched the tilt/lock...

Re: Vegas Moviestudio 12 released
Tony,
That is what I am understanding. The Vegas workflow seems to be the best bet (if you have a PC sitting around). Are you using the Dashwood software?
I sent my JVC HMZ1U back to JVC for...

Re: Vegas Moviestudio 12 released
If I can get it out as two separate files, I will just need to find a compatible format. Someone suggested downloading the Avid codec for the PC and letting Vegas export to that, then import into...

Re: Vegas Moviestudio 12 released
I work on a Mac/FCP, but before we switched, we were big Vegas users. There are still things I like about Vegas over FCP. I'm thinking about purchasing the Panasonic Z10000 in the next week or two,...

We sell them a copy of the live footage for $300. I tell them that it will be based on the card and not necessarily in chronological order. From there we start dropping cards on the timeline until...

Re: has anyone used the new Tamron 24-70 VC?
I hated Tamron (past experiences), but decided to give this lens a try. I'm actually pretty impressed with it. I can't speak for photos, but for video, it has really come in handy. Like someone...

Dumb question, but here it goes. If I used this camera to shoot something in 4K that I intended to deliver in HD, would I still run into the aliasing issues when I down-rez in software? I keep...
