High camera angles without jibb?

Anyone know how you can get high camera angles in the forest/woods without having a jibb of sorts? I don't really wanna risk the safety of my equipment to climb in a tree.

The positioning was limited due to the photographer's position, arrghhh. Very little color correction as well.

XL2 24P saves as interlaced despite settings, how come?

Well when I capture footage that I recorded in 24P in Premiere CS3 with the 24P settings, I run it through GSpot and it registers as interlaced footage, how come it won't let me save as 24P?! Arrghhh...
