HDV Power Pack/DV Rack- Ultra2 Instal?

My old PC died with HDV Power Pack/DV Rack and Ultra 2 on it.
I am trying to install them on new PC, (I have the orignal disks with the installation keys),once I install the software it tells me that it has to be authorized by Serious Magic either online or by phone(obviously that can't be done because they were bought by Adobe).
Is there anyway to install them on my new PC?
Thanks for your help
John

John, you have to get on the phone with Adobe customer service. They are honoring activation for SM products, or at least they were the last time I had an activation issue abt. 10 mos. ago.

Bring your patience with you, but it did work out for me.

Of course you'll need your serial numbers, etc.

Same exact thing here. Went to install, and when I provided the email address I originally used t register it gave me an activation error. When I called Adobe, they told me they no longer support SM products. I called 3x and same answer. I can't believe this is legal. You pay $300 for a product that they simply 'turn off'. It's one thing to not get support/updates/patches. It's all together another if they decide to kill your ability to reinstall.

Does anyone have a DV Rack V1 CD?

I'm in a similar situation where I had a PC crash, I have the install codes, and the cd for the upgrade to HD 2 but misplaced the CD for the original DV Rack v1. wondered if anyone had a cd around I could use. I thought activation was still possible thru the SoftLock company that made the copy protection software for Serious Magic? is this not the case anymore???? www.softlock.net

The only solution was to...

find a crack for the software... it was not easy, but it did work. i don't lose one split second of sleep over it given this stupid policy.
