It has been a long time to post some practise video. These two videos were shot last Saturday around 5pm.
The video does not apply software stabilizer effect. Just simply low mode two separate single shot. The camera is jvc gy-dv5000u camera. the last file didn't wor, leigh.
One thing - I'm really confused. The low level shots can be done quite simply by holding the camera handle - you don't need the complexity of a stabiliser. Do some fast action shots - instead of walking, how about running, chasing somebody up stairs, doing a 360 degree rotation etc -this will show the gadget off. The slow stuff is a bit dull, I'm afraid. paul |

Leigh is correct. Holding the handle of a camera will not deliver the same amount of isolation that a stabilizer in low-mode can deliver. Under certain circumstances it can look similar, but the degree of accuracy will generally be less with the handheld configuration. I say "generally" because it is operator-dependent. For instance, a 180 degree whip pan is easier to do handheld, whereas on a stabilizer it requires quite a bit of skill to keep it from bucking around once you come to a stop.
Leigh, now that you have your product available for sale, I'm wondering if your intention with the continued posting of videos is to promote the gear, or to invite criticism of your operating, as that represents two separate intentions. A while back you had indicated that you were learning and practicing how to operate so that you could best show the capabilities of your rig, not that you were intending to ultimately become an operator for hire. Is this still the case?

Hi Charles,
Film photography is art which is my hobby. I have shot thousands of photos and posted hundreds of photos and shared dozens of video. My art has attracted thousands of viewing on internet. Lots of people said that they wish to visit New Zealand after viewing my art. I am very proud of that. I just love art. SmoothArm is my business which brings money for my food.
