MacBook Pro 2.0 or 2.16???

Hi

I'm buying a new MacBook Pro and was wondering if it's really worth the extra bucks to get the faster processor and also the 7400 rpm hard drive?

I'm working on longer projects now.

Also getting the FinalCut Express installed. I just can't afford FCP right now.

Any insights would be so appreciated.

7200 rpm is worth it, if you can afford it. 7200 handles larger sized files better.

which mac to buy

thanks . I guess I will spring for the extra cost of a 7200 rpm ext hd - as I understand it there might be a problem with dropped frames on the slower hd. again thanks for your help.
