shooting with 1/4 pro mist

i ve had very nice results with using a 4x4 1/4 pro mist in my chrosziel matte box fiited on my z1. The video feel is much less..in fact it made my hdv footage for a short drama play look like film......(and my smokemachine did the rest...:-) )
Can anyonme recommend some other filters .
For shooting " dallasshots"/office buildings and for portraits of people?
Rent of filtersets is quit expensive so i would like to get some more info on this before spending my money on them.....

Promist filter

Did you use the black promist or just the standard promist. The black promist gives you more control on the flare and the overall look, unless you are shooting to get the glare that you get with the standard promist, is better.
