Does Vegas 8 support MXF files?
I cut my own stuff in FCP, but I am trying to understand the PC workflow because one of my clients likes to do his own edits of the stuff I shoot on his PC using Vegas 8. The last job I shot 1440x1080 to match the Z1 the other operator was shooting with. I'd imagine my client will want to edit in HD instead of SD, so if I convert the MP4's from within Clip Browser to the "MXF for NLE's (N)" output will that export as an HD file, or do I export "MXF for XDCAM HD (X)" for editing in Vegas 8?

MXF for NLE's, for XDCAM HD you have to buy a codec, but MXF for NLE works great
