two cameras ?

Hi,

I'm looking to mount and control two Sony Z1's on a DV MultiRig and control them with one focus controller. Usually, I have two camera operators that cover the close and normal distances for martial arts fighting. However, one operator is sometimes unavailable. I was dreaming of mounting both cameras on on DVMultiRig, fixing the focal length and using the Varizoom VZ Rock to control the focus both. I realize that may be impossible, but I'm willing to go with mounting the two cameras and adjusting focus in manual mode. Aside from buying a number of expensive rails and clamps (nice as they are) from Really Right Stuff, can anyone recommend a set of rails and clamps that would do the job?

I may have to go with mounting the each camera on the handgrips of the DvMultiRig, but I'd like them to be closer together.

Yes, this is a weird request.
