Helicopter or Plane Mount for XL H1

Has anyone used the H1 on a Tyler nose mount? If so then was the footage acceptable or was there vibration?

Also wondering if anyone has successfully used a cessna mount with this camera?

Hi Jeremiah,

I just used a Tyler nose mount with an H1 last month and had great results. When the helicopter hovers, it is a bit shaky, but when it has forward speed it becomes fine. You can not use too much zoom though of course...
It also really depends on the helicopter itself... we used a Jet Ranger (Bell 206) because it is rather cheap, but if you can afford it, the A-Star is much better and much less shaky...
FYI : you'll need some specific parts (small screws) to fit the H1 on the Tyler mount, but they provided them to me and it was pretty easy to install...
I can give you the contact person at Tyler in LA if you want, he knows the set-up for that camera now...!

Hope this helps...
