Hi from San Jose, California

Hi Guys,

I'm here for a while but more or less reading.
Originally I'm from Germany, living in CA for 4 years and I'm into video to bring something home for family and friends. So it's more a hobby for me but I take it seriously to make the best out of what I have.
Are there any guys out who are meeting from time to time for swapping some tips and tricks?

Regards

Axel

I'm shooting with a Canon HV10 and HV20. Got finally my Manfrotto 701RC2 video head.
I'm most interested in landscape shots (I'm doing road trips and try to make some nice videos out of it).

Hi Alex,

Welcom to this board. I shoot with an HV20 as well as an A1. I'm amazed at the quality of the picture I get witht he HV20.

The picture quality of both, HV10 and HV20 are great. I'm using the HV20 more as a stationary cam together with a left side handle und it when I don't have a tripod on hand. The HV10 is used more for quick shots, when traveling "light" or with a monopod.
At the moment I'm planning a road trip with a friend from Germany in Utah and Arizona middle of August. It will be hot and dusty!!!

Regards
