Cartoni Focus quick release lock broken

I managed to snap the plastic quick release safety lock on a Cartoni Focus head. I didn't break the big main release -- it's the smaller safety lock that closes onto the release.

You can see the lock I'm talking about in the top picture and partially in the top-left frame of the second picture (the one where 'CAUTION' is visible).

I've looked on the Cartoni website but they don't seem to sell the part. Any idea how I could fix this or does it have to be sent in?

You might want to check with the retailer from which it was purchased. Surely they have a better support contact than is available to the unwashed masses like you and me.

If it's a warranty deal, they should be able to help you with that too. Seems like your best option at the moment.

In North America, Cartoni is in California. They do repairs and have parts. Telephone or email them. I have bought parts there and they have a repair facility.
