Can I Keep Clips when Printing to Tape?

I am printing back to tape in Vegas, but if I re-capture the tape, the dv scene detection identifies one long clip. I assume this is because of the metadata and timecode.

Is there any way I can mark scenes when I print back to tape so that they will be identified if I ever re-capture?

Using Vegas 7.

Thanks (and it's been a long time!)

Not that I know of. Plus, it has nothing to do with timecode. Vegas detects "breaks" by looking for jumps in the Date/Time. Since you're printing it all out at the same time with no pauses, there's no break in the date/time.
