What is 2nd unit?
 

I can't really figure out what 2nd unit is. What is it? A new TV-channel? An education program for filmmakers? I can't seem to find a solid what it is, just a lot of why... so what is 2nd unit?

But you are on target. 2nd Unit TV is a new Internet-based video/TV channel that provides a quality education on certain topics to indie filmmakers through candid interviews with some of the greatest talents in the movie and TV industry.

Thanks Jeff! I read those pages but it was all real vague on what they do. So I definately think they should put something like your description on the top of the page so it's easier to understand and decide if you are curious or not.

I'm just curious, as to what those First Unit guys have been up to...

Well, those First Unit guys have been up to hard work, except that Jonathan who's a slacker anyway, on a new series, "Hollywood Shooting Stars" which is a reality-based show involving high-speed horseback riding. old west costuming and celebrities joined by professional shooters shooting real Colt .45s while riding through a high-speed course trying to hit 10 targets...or the producer. I haven't figured out yet if they're missing on purpose or really aiming at me. Reality TV hasn't really had anything totally exciting in a while so we figured it was about time for some real action again. You should give me your thoughts on the concept.

Sounds interesting. But then again, I actually watched them play Rock, Paper, Scissors on national TV...
