Headache caused by 3D removing agorithm claimed by ETH

If the 3D caused headache removing algorithms actually works, that would do a lot for 3D acceptance. I even got a headache once by watching satellite broadcast on one big name LCD 3D TV's. Here is the link: Google Vertaling .

Pavel, that translation was as hard to read as bad 3D is to watch. I think I grasped the overall concept but a better translated version would be helpful to fully comprehend what was being discussed.

You are right. Sorry about that. Unfortunately it is machine translated. Maybe someone else on the forum can fix the English. This would be a great feature added into the post procesors or players, to minimize various capture problems. I bet Peter Wimmer and others can understand the original. It is here: Ein Algorithmus für mehr 3D-Sehgenuss . I don't know how public the details are, but it would be great feature of S/W like Bororo, Stereo3D Toolbox or Stereoscopic Player ;-)

Well, they describe it in general terms in YouTube - Nonlinear Disparity Mapping for Stereoscopic 3D and in this paper (which I am downloading right now, so I have yet to read it).
