This would be a great feature added into the post procesors or players, to minimize various capture problems. I bet Peter Wimmer and others can understand the original. Well, they describe it in general terms in YouTube - Nonlinear Disparity Mapping for Stereoscopic 3D and in this paper (which I am downloading right now, so I have yet to read it).
