Stereo 3D Meetup Event Vancouver, BC November 2nd

Hi everyone, for those in the Vancouver, BC Canada region you may be interested in an ongoing series of community Meetups being hosted by the S3D Centre at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design. The Meetups are an effort to bring together and create an S3D community of industry professionals + artists who are interested in working on/creating content. We had a very successful first Meetup on October 25th with 75 people showing up to see Ron Steinberg demo three Genus Hurricane 3D rigs, the S3D Centre spoke about 3D on a budget with Matrix/Genesis, and Denise (me!) giving a demo of post production for S3D. This week on Nov 2nd we are having Parallax Film come in to present on their 3D shoot from their National Geographic Series "Blowdown".

This meetup will be particularly interesting to anyone interested in documentary 3D shooting, running gun shoots, and developing a series for broadcasters. We will be using our big screen infitec system to project footage from Parallax and they will give a 90minute presentation about their experiences.
