LA: 3D Sony or other camera contacts for possible in-kind loan?
 

Dear all,

I need a big favor.

I am two weeks away from shooting interviews to begin production on my 3D Consciousness Documentary Feature. Everything is falling into place, but I haven't yet secured my shoot cameras.

I am willing to rent, but since this shoot is self-funded, I'd much rather seek in-kind loans from a manufacturer who may be interested in prestige projects to support. In particular, I'm very interested in connecting with Sony, since my own camera is made by them, as is 3Net, etc.

I'm shooting for a week in Tucson, and already have a schedule full of consciousness luminaries to interview. It's all greenscreen in a walkaway location, so the cameras will be set up only once, and then struck at the end of the week, and returned to the manufacturer. I'm seeking one pair of side-by-side cameras for wide shots and one combined stereo camera for CUs.

Of course I'm new on this forum, and I wouldn't expect anyone to vouch for me. But I would very much appreciate any contact information for someone at any of the major manufacturers, who might at least be able to connect me to someone, who might be able to greenlight such an in-kind loan. I'm in L.A., so a local contact would probably be best.
