Four, or more, CF card slots would be included in my theoretical "Studio Deck". These would need to be mounted on the front of the deck for accessibility.

Specifically which "professional output" would you want?

HD-SDI is a given. Multiple HD-SDI outputs would probably be included.

I assume that you would want the LCD to be mounted on the front of the device so that it could be used while the device is mounted in a 19" rack.

Would you like a separate monitor output? I feel that a separate monitor output, so we could drive a “clip and viewing” monitor of your choice would be desirable. If we provided this, then you could choose the size and quality of monitor that suits your needs. Also, the monitor could be placed where it was convenient, separate from where it is convenient to have the deck.

Along the same lines, one or both of the HD-SDI outputs could be used for clip selection and viewing.

I feel that remote control of the deck is an essential feature, as are convenient front mounted manual controls.
