Interlaced Animation

Hey guys. I have a problem. Every time I animate a layer in PP2 it makes the animation interlaces. So lets say I have a circle and I move it from one side of the screen to the other. PP2 will add interlacing, it wont make the animation progressive. I don’t know why this is and I cant find any menu settings to change it.

I know where to change the setting for this in final cut but not PP2. It seems as though my sequence is interlaced not progressive. How do I change this?

Standard DV - NTSC widescreen project. When I go under project settings it says next to fields "Lower Field First" but it wont let me change it to "No Fields Progressive".

I had the same problem when I was working with 1080p30 footage in final cut and had to eventually make my own preset, but PP2 didnt used to do this before, so I'm sure its operator error, I just dont know how to fix it.

You selected an interlaced preset. You would have to use a Desktop mode in a cutom setting to select Progressive.

Alan,

It might be easier if you contacted me via email off of my web site with a phone number and we can get this done quickly over the phone.
